If you prefer more of a DIY approach or would just like more control over your site in general, here are some hosts we recommend.

WP Engine
Armed with top-notch support and an intuitive user dashboard, WP Engine is a great option for those who prefer simplicity over an overwhelming number of options.
SpinupWP
If performance and control is what you’re after, SpinupWP is hands down the best option. In fact, SpinupWP is what we use at the time of this article for our own hosting. SpinupWP isn’t a managed hosting service, instead it’s a “control panel” that connects to a number of hosting providers that helps offer you the ease of use of managed hosting combined with the performance of a VPS provider.
SpinupWP requires a bit more server knowledge and initial set up time than a managed WordPress hosting, however, the tradeoff is performance and affordability.
Cloudways
If you’re looking for a managed WordPress hosting that’s a bit more affordable, Cloudways is a solid option. Not quite as simple to use as WP Engine, however, it’s a solid option nonetheless if your budget is a primary concern.

While NotablePress was designed to work well with any WordPress host, there are some cases where particular older or non-standard configurations of WordPress that may cause conflicts. To help ensure the most optimized, best performing site, we highly recommend selecting a host from this page as they’ve been tested to play well with NotablePress.
